- AI tooling — agent workflows, internal automations, and the unsexy plumbing that makes them reliable.
- Rails systems — the kind that need to keep running for years without surprising anyone.
How I work
I came up the hard way: production systems, on-call rotations, customers calling at 2am because something stopped working. That shaped how I build now.
- Reliability before features. Backups, observability, and recoverability come first — because the cost of losing data dwarfs the cost of preventing it.
- Plain decisions. I prefer the boring, well-understood tool over the clever one. Future-you (and the team) will thank present-you.
- Owner’s mindset. Your business is not my contract — it’s the thing I’m helping protect. Decisions get made accordingly.
